A thought just came into my mind just a while ago...
It was the question of what is marriage?
I was watching a Korean drama, "Boys Over Flowers" while eating my ever delicious Korean instant noodles...
And Jan Di's friend was saying, "Marriage is different, it's not like dating where they can date for a few months and then break-up".
My thought were why can't they marry each other for a few months and then divorce?
Well, of course I know the answer why not...
Cause Marriage is a sacred thing and it is a commitment where a guy and a girl made the commitment to spend the rest of our lives together no matter what happen...
And marriage is the contract that binds the two of them together in paper and there is no turning back...
But then everything has it's loop hole or should I say, escape route...
Divorce... Lots of people use that to get out of the everlasting commitment...
But at the same time, it could be because they can't live together anymore or maybe they fell out of love, or there was someone else or, the list is so long and there can be so many reasons...
Britney Spears got married for a few hours and then got divorced... didn't she?
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt got divorced cause rumours say she didn't want a baby.
Lots of people divorce... It has become sooo common that almost anywhere we look, there has to be at least one divorce case...
Gone were the times of the past where people stick to the person they have chosen to spend the rest of their lives with through thick or thin...
Everyone wants an easy way out...
Conclusion, pick wisely... no one likes a divorce...
Too much paperwork and psychology effect to the kids who have to face it.
Plus, it's troublesome and costly...
And don't be creative and find other ways to get a divorce...
It doesn't make you less of a jerk if you cheated...
